Is it possible to exchange DIALux evo 8.1 and DIALux 4 projects?

With DIALux 4 and DIALux evo there are two DIAL lighting design software on the market. For various reasons, there are lighting designers who work in parallel with both programs or who switch to DIALux evo 8.1 during an ongoing project.

Our support therefore reached the following question:

Can DIALux evo 8.1 and DIALux 4.13.0.2 be installed in parallel on the same computer and can projects be exchanged?

Of course you can install both DIALux versions evo 8.1 and 4.13.0.2 on your computer and work with both versions in parallel. However only DIALux 4 interior projects can be imported into evo. You will find all necessary information in this article from our knowledge database.
